Neo Harbor Rescue Squad is a tongue in cheek paramedic simulator and character driven visual novel developed and published by BancyCo.
I was the lead artist during the pre-production phase of the project, my responsibilities included:
- Helping define the look and feel of the user interface, minigames, backgrounds, and character animations.
- Defining the art creation pipeline for both Spine rigging and animation, as well and Unity importing, atlas and file structure, scene setup, and visual effects. I created art guidelines, templates, examples, and exporter scripts to reduce friction in the production pipeline.
- Writing a definitive Art Guide to ensure that the production art team could understand and take over the process while remaining on style, consistent for tech implementation, and optimized for performance.
